At Confidential K9 Detection Inc., we provide professional service dog training for individuals living with PTSD, Operational Stress Injuries (OSI), and medical conditions that benefit from trained canine support.

Saskatchewan does not currently have a standardized certification program for service dogs. While awaiting provincial guidance, our program follows the Province of Alberta’s established standards, which emphasize public access, advanced obedience, handler control, environmental stability, and disability-mitigating task work.

Our goal is to develop dependable service dog teams that can safely and confidently work in public while providing meaningful, day-to-day support.

Experience You Can Trust

Our foundation is built on decades of professional canine training and handling experience. We have trained and certified explosive, narcotic, and firearm detection canines, along with service dogs for PTSD, OSI, and medical alert and response.

Our dogs and handlers have earned multiple Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) titles, demonstrating a strong commitment to reliability, performance, and teamwork. We have also worked alongside OSI-CAN in supporting veterans, first responders, and public safety personnel living with PTSD and operational stress injuries.

“Before I started this process, even simple things like going into a store felt overwhelming. I was constantly on edge. Working with Confidential K9 changed that. The training wasn’t one-size-fits-all. They really took the time to understand what I was dealing with. Now I have a service dog I trust completely, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I can move through the world with more confidence.”

“I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, and honestly, I had some doubts. But from day one, the team made me feel comfortable and supported. They understood the realities of living with an operational stress injury and worked at a pace that made sense for me and my dog. Today, my dog helps me stay grounded and manage situations that used to feel impossible.”

“This experience has been life-changing in a way I didn’t fully understand at the start. The training was consistent, thoughtful, and really focused on what I needed day-to-day. My dog now alerts me to changes in my condition, which gives me a sense of security I didn’t have before. I feel more independent and more at ease knowing I’m not facing things alone.”
